A Date in the Killing Fields

As some of you might have heard, and all of you need to know, Montana’s Legislature is once again hearing a bill, this time SB107, to remove the Unconstitutional language from the Deviate Sexual Acts bill. Because in 1997 our state Supreme Court ruled the law unconstitutional.

And in 2003 SCOTUS did the same thing.

Yet it’s still on the books because, well, the Republicans in this state are beholden to the right-wing-religious morons. That’s why.

But this bill passed the Senate and is going to what Kelsen and I have referred to as the Killing Fields – the House Judiciary Committee.  The hearing is set for March 15th at 8 am. Be there. Support the rainbow, kids!
